Hi all,
which *dejavu* font package to use?
$ pkg list dejavu
NAME (PUBLISHER) VERSION
IFO
system/font/dejavu 2.37-2018.0.0.2
i--
From 'pkg search -r dejavu' command:
pkg.fmri set openindiana.org/system/font/truetype/dejavu
pkg:/system/font/truetype/***@2.37-2018.0.0.1
pkg.fmri set openindiana.org/system/font/dejavu
pkg:/system/font/***@2.37-2018.0.0.2
1st one is required by jenkins package, although second one is "newer"
(according to version numbers):
$ pfexec pkg install -v developer/jenkins-standalone developer/jenkins
Creating Plan (Checking for conflicting actions): | Packages

developer/jenkins-standalone
None -> 2.65-2018.0.0.2
system/font/truetype/dejavu
None -> 2.37-2018.0.0.1
pkg install: The following packages all deliver file actions to
usr/share/fonts/TrueType/dejavu/DejaVuSansCondensed-BoldOblique.ttf:
pkg://openindiana.org/system/font/truetype/***@2.37,5.11-2018.0.0.1:20180520T173532Z
pkg://openindiana.org/system/font/***@2.37,5.11-2018.0.0.2:20181106T081714Z
...
Also, I have noticed that lot of fonts still have both
system/font/truetype and system/font variants...
I guess that might cause more problems (maybe also messed up fontconfig
cache, e.g. /var/cache/fontconfig is constantly updated)...
Any thoughts?
With best regards.
