[OpenIndiana-discuss] how to write device drivers

Hi,

I am application engineer, but I want to write device driver
that run in user process.

Character and Block device I want to write,
But I do not know where am I start.

chardev? very easy way , look /dev/null you lough,
but I do not know where it place.

and I do not know the magic number
that how can I decide dev_no,
more, the rule of /devices/.....

I order my new machine, the sandbox
please tell me how to write drivers.
